Villa Malaika

We had a great view of the Indian Ocean from Villa malaika, and the rooms were very clean. Falling asleep to the waves each night was so relaxing. The staff were always smiling and made us feel at home. The food was very good, and the owner and his family were on hand to help arrange excursions and find taxis. The location in Jambiani also made it easy to connect with local people. Everything was done really well. It meets European five-star hotel standards, and I recommend it without hesitation.

We stayed in the rooftop lodge and had a gorgeous view across the Indian Ocean. It was perfectly placed for watching the sunrise right from bed. The villa itself is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful, arranging several excursions through their local contacts. We definitely recommend it for a stay at Jambiani beach!

A peaceful, beautiful oasis right on the beach, with warm and attentive service. It’s a wonderful place, very well managed, and we highly recommend it. Hope to be back soon.

Jambiani village is just behind the property, and we loved getting a glimpse of local life. We also ate at Zawadi, a lovely restaurant that had only recently opened, and had some of the best food we tried in Zanzibar. Villa Malaika is right on the beach, with wonderful views and sand just outside. The staff were cheerful and helpful, and everything felt relaxed, well run, and spotlessly clean. There’s a nice pool and restaurant too. My husband and I had a wonderful stay.
