Our stay at Amora homestay was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean with private bathrooms. The rooms are very affordable and have been the best value for money on our Tanzania trip so far.

It’s a great spot for a visit to Ngorongoro or simply to unwind somewhere beautiful. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and my room was clean and cozy. The hosts were incredibly kind and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Highly recommended!

I felt like part of the family at Amora Homestay from the moment I arrived. The hosts were genuinely warm, always smiling, and happy to share useful local tips. They made sure I was comfortable throughout. The peaceful setting was lovely for relaxing after time around Ngorongoro Crater or Karatu town. My room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished, with traditional Tanzanian character alongside modern comforts. The homemade food was another highlight, full of flavor and made with care. Breakfast was fresh and filling, and dinner felt like a fun cultural experience. Amora’s personal touch makes you feel like a valued guest, whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or in a small group. For an affordable, safe, and welcoming stay in Karatu, I highly recommend it. I’d definitely come back!

Our room was nice and spacious, and the service was fine. They can serve breakfast as early as 5:30 am, which lets you get going to Ngorongoro on time.
