A really nice lodge near Ngoro ngoro. Everything was excellent. We’ve stayed here four times for three nights each and will come back.

A lovely resort with a beautiful setup. The rooms, restaurant and bar are all artistically designed, and everything is beautiful. The rooms were super clean and the food was awesome. My pictures and videos say it all 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at Octagon Lodge. The lodge is beautifully designed, with cozy cabins that feel both luxurious and homey, and the scenery all around is breathtaking and instantly relaxing. The staff were very friendly, attentive and ready to help, going above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The food was tasty, with fresh ingredients sourced locally. Thank you, Patrick and the whole team, for your hospitality. I’ll be back!

We had a really bad experience here. Members of our family had $300 stolen from their room. The room was locked, so someone managed to get inside, but we’ll never know whether it was staff or someone from the public, since the lodge gates had been left open for anyone to walk in. When we asked the manager about the theft, he refused to show us the CCTV footage of the room with the spare keys in. The staff weren’t welcoming when we arrived, and their stares made us uncomfortable. Thankfully we were only there for one night on our safari tour. The rooms were clean but basic, and the food was edible, though we didn’t enjoy it. We hope security has improved since then, but still wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The walks are beautiful, and there’s a pool nestled among the greenery. The Irish bar is wow, and the food is delicious. It’s a quiet property surrounded by nature, with big, cozy rooms.
