The setting is a real highlight: two lovely pools, lush gardens, and three inviting bars make it easy to relax. Resident cats and Colobus monkeys give the property extra character. Food was consistently good and portions generous. Rooms differ in style and comfort. Some are very well equipped, while others are more basic. The air conditioning in my room wasn't working, and it took some effort to get moved to another excellent room. Service had bright spots, with several staff members warm and welcoming, though some interactions felt less attentive. The team has potential to shine with more training or support. There's a lot going for this hotel, especially the location, natural beauty, and atmosphere. More consistency in communication and guest care would help it match the remarkable setting. The foundation is there, but it needs some finishing touches.

The people working here brought us the greatest joy. They were always smiling and helpful, and Abdul in particular went above and beyond. We also remember Letishia for her constant smile and helpfulness. My wife and I spent a fantastic 10 days at Reef and Beach Resort in Zanzibar. We had beautiful weather and a fantastic ocean-view room. Food was varied and delicious, and the restaurants and bars were great. There was a wide choice of excursions, and we went on safari in Mikumi Park on the mainland, as well as to Stone Town and Prison Island. Everything was top-notch. Thank you so much, it was a fantastic vacation.

Zena was an angel, a woman with a huge heart. She helped whenever we needed information, looked after our stay, and made wonderful drinks. We felt truly looked after, almost luxuriously so. The greenery is lovely, and playful monkeys add to the charm. The hotel, rooms, location, and food are wonderful, and the staff are dedicated to every guest. The food is different every day. I recommend this place to everyone for a chance to relax in complete luxury. On a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is the best, I'd give it 1000 😁

We got an upgrade to a very nice suite, though our original room was excellent too. Since stairs are a little challenging for me, the hotel kindly moved us to an option on the ground floor. The resort is beautiful, and the daily buffet was good, with a range of meat, fish, chicken, and lots of vegetables. Breakfast had plenty of choices too. I'd highly recommend this resort.

The monkeys and bushbabies were the biggest, loveliest attraction for us. We had a fantastic honeymoon at Reef&Beach, with an amazing beach and delicious food. Professional bartenders made tasty drinks with freshly squeezed juices, and the pools were always pleasantly warm. The smaller pool by the beach can get noisy, so we chose the large pool when we wanted more peace. Evening entertainment was high quality and really enjoyable, and the rooms were kept spotless. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, and the hotel manager was excellent and professional. One small drawback: the main pool uses strong chlorine and chemicals, which can sometimes turn clothes yellow. Still, a fantastic stay, highly recommended!
