I found the hotel on Google Maps during my first trip abroad, coming from China. My English isn’t very good, but the manager was patient with me and helped arrange a safari to Mikumi National Park. The service was excellent. The surroundings are beautiful, the rooms are roomy and clean, and the food was delicious. I’d stay here again if I return.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were really nice. We stopped at Mikumi Adventure Lodge for one night on the way to Iringa. A flat tire delayed us until 10pm, so we couldn’t get dinner there, which was understandable. We drove about five minutes up the road to find food in town. It worked well as a place to rest for the night.

Mr.Peter patiently shared what he knew about the animals we saw in Mikumi Park. The lodge staff were kind and helpful, and gave us lots of information about the safari, Tanzania, and its culture without hesitation. We had a very pleasant stay at Mikumi Adventure lodge and I’d recommend it.

We sorted out our own safari easily with the owner Sam’s help. For $150 we got a private 4x4 and guide for the full day, 7am-6pm, and it was worth it. Getting there from Dar es Salaam was straightforward too, we took a bus and asked the driver to let us off at the entrance. The lodge is close to Mikumi national park. Our rooms were spacious and clean, with comfy beds, mosquito nets, and fans, and the food was delicious. Everyone was friendly and did their best to make the stay great. Thanks so much to Sam, Lazarous, and all the Masai for such a unique experience. We had an amazing time and got to experience Tanzanian hospitality.
