Right in downtown Moshi, it was good value. The staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, and the restaurant food was good.

The manager was the main disappointment. Our room had a faulty AC, but he wouldn't arrange a repair or lower the rate, and said there was no other room available. He didn't come see us, and we had to call him to get any discussion going. Doreen at reception was especially helpful, and the rest of the staff were polite. The hotel is clean, neat, and well priced. Breakfast was OK, but you needed to go early or they ran out of things.

I stayed a few days with a safari field course for school. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the food was great. The staff made us feel welcome. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through Moshi.

The rooms were nice and had balcony views of the mountains, and the hotel was clean with good staff. There was no mold, unlike two other hotels I'd reserved in Tanzania. Breakfast was really good too, and I ate enough that I didn't need lunch. Noise was the main downside. There's a call to prayer around 4:15, then another around 5:30am that seems to last 30 minutes. After that second call ends, people start driving to work on loud motorcycles. For Tanzania standards, it's a nice hotel and good for the price. Bring earplugs and you should have a good, safe stay with nice staff. For what it's worth, I didn't like Moshi or Arusha and wished I'd gone to Zanzibar like everyone else.
