The rooms are clean and nice, though small, and only a few have western toilets. The hot shower was great, but there was no Wi-Fi, and only some staff could speak English. Breakfast was very basic: egg, chapati or mandezi, banana, and tea or coffee. We were extremely upset when there was a fire in the shower while we were using it, apparently because of the bad electrical system. The manager then asked us to pay extra for a larger room we hadn’t requested. When we disagreed, he said there were no other rooms and told us to find somewhere else. It was 6 pm on Christmas Eve, so we eventually left. The hotel itself is okay, but the service and care were poor, especially when we needed help. There are other nearby hotels at a similar cost with better conditions. It’s your choice.
