Seeing several giraffes and zebras walking through the property was the highlight and really made our stay. Staff were accommodating and happily had breakfast ready early for our 6 am departure. The campsite is quite a way out on a rocky, dusty road. The tents are large and comfortable, with a roomy bathroom and a decent lounge area with a view. Wi-Fi and electricity were good. The beds were comfortable and had mosquito nets, but it was disappointing to get two singles as a married couple. Dinner doesn’t start until 7:30 pm, which is far too late for tired travellers who’ve been out all day. Plenty of others were ready to eat earlier too. The camp needs to recognise what clients need.

The tent was amazing, with everything we needed, including a shower, toilet, and three beds. The views were spectacular, and zebras were right under our tent. Well worth visiting.

The little dik-dik animals at camp were adorable and harmless. In the morning, we saw a baby giraffe grazing right there too, exactly the kind of thing you want to see on safari. We had a marvelous stay, with lots of fantastic choices at the buffet and such kind, friendly staff.

Beautiful nature, lots of village weaver birds, and a view of Lake Eyasi, called Emakat e yiasi in Maasai.

Our room was contemporary, spotless, and had comfortable beds. The toilet and shower were also up to standard, with a very hotel-like feel. The staff were polite, helpful, and had a great attitude, so thanks to all of them for making the stay even better. We only stayed one night, and I regret not booking another. The view over the lake and landscape from our room was spectacular, like something from a holiday advert. For the best view, ask for the furthest room down on the right-hand side. The camp is in the wild too, and a giraffe walked right in front of our room. How amazing is that? The food was 10/10 considering where we were. As Asians, we really appreciated the chef’s tasty curries and the wide variety. Keep up the good work, Team Serengeti Wild Camp!
