Siri Beach Lodge

Charlotte, the manager, was friendly and helpful, and arranged rides to and from the airport as well as transport for our tours. Siri beach Lodge feels like a peaceful hidden spot in Nungwi beach, with its little 'secret garden' (Siri means secret in Swahili). It's just steps from the beach and beach clubs, where you can spend the day by the ocean, while staying away from the busier beach areas.

The garden gives this small hotel a lovely charm, and the staff were kind. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and welcoming, with a really comfortable bed. The beach is only a few steps away, so the location was hard to beat. Breakfast was good too. We had a lovely stay at Nungwi Siri Beach Lodge and would happily come back.

Siri Beach Lodge turned our time in Nungwi around after a bad experience at another Zanzibar place forced us to leave that same day and find somewhere quickly. We looked at the rooms and fell for the place straight away. Everything else made it feel ideal, even though the mattress wasn't perfect. Mattresses on the island are generally quite hard, so that didn't seem unique to this hotel. The only little things we'd suggest are improving the mattress and the hot water pressure, which is low, so you have to use colder water for a stronger flow. The staff were so kind, and the manager was friendly, open, and easy to communicate with throughout. She also speaks Spanish, which made things much easier for us. The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet, with air conditioning and a fan, plus unlimited water and coffee. The bathrooms were clean and had towels, soap, and everything we needed. Thanks for making our stay so much more enjoyable!

Charlotte was super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. We loved the quiet, green setting, just steps from Nungwi Beach, with plenty of good restaurants and beach bars nearby. We had a fantastic stay at Siri Beach. Thanks so much!
