The setting is what first won us over, with trees and plants all around the comfortable bungalow. Breakfast was fantastic and had everything we needed. We also really appreciated that the place is run by lovely local staff, since we wanted to support locally run places instead of the big hotels usually owned by foreign businesses. Such a gorgeous place to stay.

We had a great time as a family of four. The bungalows are in a quiet part of Nunqwi, and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really tasty, and they took our wishes into account. Miraj looked after us at Zanzi, welcoming us with drinks and sharing helpful advice and recommendations. He was also good company over an evening drink. Thanks for everything, highly recommended.

We stayed for three days and would happily recommend the place. The staff were so friendly, and that’s what makes a stay great. It was by far the best value for money in the area.

The location is good, but the rooms need major renovation, especially the washrooms. There’s no toilet jet sprayer, and the water flow in the bathroom and toilet is a big problem. They really need to address these issues.

DO NOT STAY. My card was charged for $5000 USD in what I believe was fraud at this facility. Reply 8/22: Your staff falsely charged $5000 USD to my card on 8/20. Please return the funds and reverse the charges. What a shame!
