Zenobia Beach Resort Hotel

The staff were the best part of my stay. Gloria at reception, Rose, Myriam, Rony in service, and Alex were all kind, attentive, and helpful. I wouldn’t stay in the rooms again, though I’d definitely return to the restaurant for grilled calamari with coconut rice. I stayed a few nights. The room and furniture were clean, housekeeping came daily, and towels were changed, but everything was dated and lacked style. For the price, it didn’t feel like great value. Ocean-view rooms can be loud: they’re above a restaurant, and a nearby beachfront place has nightly shows and stays open late. Noise can carry on until around 12:30-1:00 a.m., so sleeping early is difficult. Breakfast was very basic, with limited choices. The fruit was the best part, and they’ll make an omelette if you ask.

Gloria was especially lovely, always willing to help and full of positive energy. Her humour and warm conversations added a personal touch to our stay. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time at Zenobia Hotel. The beachfront setting was gorgeous, and waking up to the waves and stunning view was a highlight. Shops and restaurants were just a short walk away, which made exploring easy. The hotel restaurant served delicious food, so we didn’t even need to leave the property for a good meal.

My wife and I booked five nights at the beginning of February. On the second day, the bathroom had no running water. The manager was rude and unhelpful, so we left and checked into another hotel. The hotel agreed to refund us, but never did. I’ve spent over a month trying to reach them by phone and through booking.com, with no luck. Horrible customer service, unfriendly and unprofessional. Stay away!

Traveling with a baby was easy here, thanks to the very welcoming staff who are personally invested in their guests. We had a great experience with Gloria, Noella and Scolla. The chef is really good at baking and pastries. The location works well for swimming at low tide on the clean beach, or at high tide, when the water comes up to the deck steps and looks beautiful. The only comment is that the bathroom fittings are a bit old, though still comfortable to use.
