The game drives every day were amazing, and the food and accommodation were first class. My fiancée and I had a wonderful stay here in 2023. Everyone on staff was pleasant and really helpful. It made for a trip of a lifetime.

The guided drives were a highlight. We saw four of the Big Five up close, and John was a knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide who made it both exciting and educational. At Serengeti Migration Camp, the tented rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. Waking to wildlife sounds was a treat, and the lodge blends into its surroundings while still being comfortable. The staff were warm and attentive, our butler and room attendant were fantastic, and the spa treatment was fabulous. Meals were exceptional in a beautiful dining setting. The stay felt magical, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Serengeti.

You often hear and see animals right from your tent because Serengeti Migration Camp sits by the river. We had hippos, lions, and buffalo nearby. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to help. A fantastic camp, and I highly recommend it.

Oscar, our guide, Rashid, our butler, and the whole Elewana team made our honeymoon deeply personal and unforgettable. The landscapes and sheer variety and number of animals were breathtaking, but the staff’s warmth and thoughtfulness are what set the trip apart. Every meal, detail, and moment felt tailored to us, beyond what we could have imagined. We can’t wait to come back, hopefully with family and friends next time.

The first night, the lions roaring scared us. By the third, it had become a soothing sound. We spotted hippos in the Grumeti river behind camp, an elephant walked through the camp area, and dikdiks ran through one morning. It was an awesome location. Our two families, eight of us altogether, stayed at elewana migration camp for three days and three nights. Mokili and Sirili picked us up with snacks and tea or coffee and made us feel at home right away. The view of the wild Serengeti from reception was breathtaking. During the facilities briefing, Charles, the manager, said there were no TVs, and that the best screen was the view from reception. Everyone smiled and made us feel welcome. Musa looked after us as our butler, Zakia cooked amazing food and was fun to talk to, and Frank kept our room tidy, stocked, and comfortable. Mokili and Sirili knew so much and asked what was on our wishlist. Mokili gave us plenty of time to take pictures and watch the animals. One morning they set up a hot bush breakfast with fruit, bread, smoothies, and freshly made eggs. We’d never imagined eating such a spread out in the wild. We were celebrating our daughter’s and my husband’s niece’s graduations, so we asked Charles to arrange a cake. That evening, the whole staff came out singing a local song, drumming, and dancing. The girls felt special, and we even tried dancing along. By the end we wished we had a few more days, and saying goodbye was hard. Mokili and Sirili drove us to Lobo airstrip and waved until our flight took off.
