The port is just a 2-minute walk away, and the beach is 3 minutes on foot. The area feels friendly and very secure, with an amazing view of both. Great hotel and rooms, plus friendly, helpful staff and free breakfast.

The management was good throughout, and it’s a good hotel.

The building itself is nice, but management needs to improve. We stayed one night, and the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. The sheets were dirty, mosquitoes were everywhere, and pest control didn’t seem adequate.

Being right by the port means noise through the day and night, which is a real drawback. The location is otherwise great, close to everything in the city. This is the former Smiles hotel under a new name. We stayed three nights; the rooms were small but decent, with air conditioning and a small fridge, though maintenance could be better. Fine for a short visit, but I wouldn’t stay longer.
