Really nice, I liked it!

The beach was only a two-minute walk from Casablanca, and the hotel looked especially lovely lit up at night. My husband and I stayed there from August 16th to 23rd, 2020, on our first trip to Zatoka. I choose hotels carefully, so I was delighted with how it turned out. The Moroccan-style building is beautiful, quiet, stylish, and cozy, a little place where you could almost forget you were in Ukraine. Our Standard room had everything we needed and felt close to a deluxe room, with a very comfortable bed. It was cleaned every day, and they supplied soap and toilet paper. We were checked in quickly, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the delicious food and the lovely dining area. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday! ❤️ I highly recommend it.

The hotel is about five minutes from the beach, with lots of cafes and shops nearby, and the Zatoka entertainment center is another five-minute walk away. The building itself is striking, with lovely architecture and little turrets, just as the owners describe it. Staff were friendly, the rooms were cleaned regularly, and the towels and linens were always fresh. Any issue that came up was dealt with quickly. We didn't try the food because our schedules didn't line up, so I can't comment on that. Everything else was fantastic. 5 out of 5, and I can honestly recommend it for a holiday.

The beach is about 150 meters away, and the hotel sits on the second line. It's a roomy stretch of sand and shells, with a 5-7-minute walk to the central alley. There are activities at reasonable prices: the trampoline is 10 UAH for 5 minutes, the waterslide with pool landing is 10 UAH, jet skis are 350 UAH for 5 minutes, and a catamaran averages 150 UAH an hour. Market prices are sensible, there are modern mini-supermarkets, and some cafeterias too, though neither the decor nor prices there are especially appealing. Zatoka left me with a good impression, and there are plenty of places to stay, so make arrangements. The hotel has an oriental look and a cozy courtyard with a fountain, plants, and blooming roses. There are two viewing decks, one indoors and one outside, with lovely sea and sunset views. You can find a bit of privacy there since not everyone wants to climb the spiral stairs. Bring your own coffee or tea if you need it. The rooms are well kept and have hot water, a toilet, air conditioning, a shower, a hairdryer, spacious comfortable beds, a TV, and a refrigerator. The appearance and rooms are all fine. We were travelling with children, and the playground was small. It's nicely made with soft flooring and suits little ones, but our kids didn't stay there long. Cooking for ourselves was difficult, which was a problem with children. The kitchen-restaurant has prices starting around 30 hryvnias on average, with lunch from 100 UAH and coffee from 25 UAH. The administrator said she couldn't influence the kitchen and that arrangements had to be made individually. It seems they bring in independent cooks with their own menus and service. The hotel itself is aimed at budget-conscious guests who still want comfort.

The Wi-Fi barely worked in our room, which was my one real wish for improvement. Outside, though, the place is lovely and well looked after, with lots of flowers, cypresses, oleanders, and petunias, plus a pretty fountain, white surfaces, and paved ground. We were there for a few days and found the staff friendly. You can tell they care about the hotel. Our standard triple room was simple, with older furniture, but everything was neat and the bathroom was clean. It had a double bed, sofa, wardrobe, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, and safe. They cleaned daily, changed the towels, and left a bathroom kit with soap and shower gel. We only ate breakfast at the cafe. For three, potato pancakes, syrniki, two fried eggs with vegetables and cheese, and two coffees came to 295 UAH, very affordable. There's an outdoor children's area with soft flooring and a few toys, mostly different little horses.
