Villa Diana

The food was fresh and tasty, though the menu felt pretty simple, more like home-style country cooking, and the prices seemed high for it. The hotel itself is small and right by the sea, but the beach is only a few meters wide, without the usual stretch of Zatoka sand. Ships keep passing very close by.

The fast 5GHz Wi-Fi was a plus, but I don't understand all the praise for this place. It's on the beachfront, about 20 steps from the water, and the room has air conditioning, a private shower and toilet, a TV, and fairly decent renovations. Still, the work looks a little dated or poorly done. Our window view was a gamble, and could easily have been a wall from another room. The room was dusty and hadn't been cleaned well. There's no toilet outside, so you have to go back to your room. They don't provide beach towels, and there are no trash bins either, so where are guests meant to put their rubbish? The outdoor area also smelled terrible. We weren't greeted warmly. Instead, we got complaints for arriving early and were shouted at, even though it had been a normal conversation.

There are several room categories, and ours was clean and very nice, with a TV, refrigerator, and air conditioning. The host was lovely and welcoming. We especially liked the road overlooking the sea, where we could sit in the evening with coffee and listen to the surf. There was also a well-equipped kitchen, restrooms and showers, parking, a barbecue, a gazebo, and sun loungers. We'll definitely come back.

The sea and beach were right outside our window, and the bar and kitchen were a real highlight. My family and I stayed at Diana in 2015 and had a fantastic time. The price, quality, and comfort were an amazing combination, and the staff were attentive and friendly. It was convenient for everything, with Solnechnaya metro station, Liman, cafes, and shops all about a 3.5-minute walk away. Our room had a modern TV, refrigerator, and amenities, plus there was a nearby balcony where you could smoke. Thank you, Diana. Love, Andrey, Alyona, and Nikita.
