The beach is right by the minihotel, and from the balcony you get a lovely view. There’s a shaded private terrace, parking, and you can barbecue by the sea. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and brought us whatever we asked for. It’s a quiet spot, with no rubbish, restaurants, or loud music nearby. There’s a small playground beside the terrace, so it works well for a peaceful family break. One thing to know: the Dnistr delta is around the corner, so the beach water has a current and isn’t salty. Driving here takes a bit of planning, since you have to make a U-turn several kilometres away in Zatoka. The train runs rarely and hardly disturbed us. Akkerman fortress is about a half-hour drive away and well worth seeing.
