The location was good, and the receptionist was friendly. Beyond that, I don’t think this hotel is worth the price. This summer, we rented a room at the Berdyansk Sanatorium for the same amount. Its room was better, and the beach couldn’t compare with the city beach, of course. There was no soundproofing at all. The bed linen and towels were washed out and pilled, and the pillows were old, hard, and filled with feathers. My neck hurt terribly after sleeping on them. The furniture was old and Soviet-era, and so were the air conditioner and refrigerator. They hummed loudly and smelled unpleasant. There wasn’t room in the shower for basic toiletries. I’d booked ahead, but was told that our room had flooded the day before, so they gave us a different one without a TV. I didn’t really need the TV, but nobody lowered the price, even though the room didn’t have the advertised conditions.
