We stayed in Beregovo in November 2025, when power cuts were happening across the country, including here. Even during outages lasting seven hours, our room stayed warm and we had hot water. The sockets on the first floor still worked, so I could use the hairdryer, dry my hair and charge our devices. The Wi-Fi and internet were working well too. It was thoughtful of them to make sure guests were comfortable without electricity. Khrystina welcomed us, showed us around and explained everything. She answered our requests and stayed in touch. The Thermal pool "Zakarpattya" is across the street. Good value for money!

Stayed in room 301 in July 2025. Good room and a friendly owner. Recommended.

I wouldn't recommend staying here, or leaving your vehicle unattended. When we came back from the pool, I saw the owner hitting my car repeatedly with an extension cord. He didn't respond when I called out. When I went to check the car, he just asked, contemptuously, "What happened?" It seemed like he expected guests to look after his property while treating theirs as fair game. I suspect this may have happened before without people realizing while they're away. He wasn't helpful with basic questions either. Asked where something was, I was told to "think for yourself." The yard people mention in reviews isn't really there, and the area described that way was full of trash (photo). From the window, you face either residents' windows in the surrounding five-story buildings or the main road (photo). Guests are told to carry their garbage to the bins on the fifth floor; the owner doesn't have his own bin. There were other problems in the room. No large towel, because "it is not provided," and the small one smelled musty. The old bed had badly flattened, stained pillows (photo). The fridge had no freezer, and there was no shared one either, so you can't keep anything frozen or make ice. For payment, we were asked to send the deposit without stating its purpose, then send the main amount with the note OTHER rooms. We didn't book an expensive room or expect luxury, but basic service ethics were missing. I don't know why so many people describe a wonderful stay. The attitude toward guests was poor.

The room and location were great, but there was a big problem. Whether he was the owner or just a bearded man, he seemed to hate children. When we were going to take the kids for a walk, he started yelling that we should take them out. It wasn't even 10 p.m. He threatened to evict us within half an hour because of their playing, and said he wouldn't recommend the place to anyone with children. After speaking with him, it felt like he was ready to kill those happy kids.

We had a great stay, and the place was quiet and cozy. There were three adults in our group, and everything was comfortable, including the beds and the balcony, which was lovely for drying clothes. It stayed quiet after 9 p.m. too. The room had just about everything: dishes, a microwave, kettle, stove, fridge, TV, folding table and chairs, plus a fan. They even provided cleaning things like detergent, a broom, mop, buckets and a bowl. Hot water was always available. We've been to Beregovo five times, and this is the best accommodation we've had. I'd recommend it and would definitely come back.
