Villa Vera

Our family had booked a room for three days, two nights, and the administration took the reservation by phone. A day later they called to say they were cancelling because people wanting to stay longer had come along, and they'd given them our room. We were told there were no vacancies and to look elsewhere. It was the height of the season, with almost nowhere available, or only places that didn't fit our budget. I was shocked. We'd already bought flowers to take to Berehove and had planned everything. My husband is in the military and had come from the East for just a week with his family. He was looking forward to a few quiet days, and that happiness was simply taken away. They chose money over reputation and decency, and their word meant nothing. That's no way to give people a good rest. It's their choice how to run their business, but I don't recommend this place. You could find out on the way that you have nowhere to sleep.

We stayed at Villa Vera Sadyba in May 2023, and my daughter and I enjoyed the visit. Our room was comfortable and clean, with air conditioning, a plasma TV, wardrobe, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer and orthopedic mattresses. I have a bad back, so those mattresses mattered a lot. There was space to dry clothes both on the floor and outside, plus a laundry room with two washing machines and ironing facilities. The first-floor kitchen was large and had a microwave, big fridge, coffee machine, cooking utensils and room to eat. Wi-Fi was strong. The grounds were clean and well kept, with a shower, large barbecue, gazebo and even a swing. A small grocery store nearby sold vegetables and fruit, and the cafe "Charda Paprika" served tasty Hungarian food. Many thanks to the owner Volodymyr for his attention and friendliness, and to the staff as well. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly return and recommend Villa Vera Sadyba to friends.

The room was clean, with a refrigerator and kettle, but the bathroom was tiny and the beds were uncomfortable. You sink into the mattresses. We stayed in early October, when it was cold outside. The heating wasn't turned on, and the air conditioner remotes had been taken, so the room was very cold. Thanks for the owner's reply. I should mention that I've visited Beregovo twice in early October, staying at Chetyre Sezony (Four Seasons) once and at your place the other time. But I guess you know better. 🤔

For 500 UAH, we got a double room where everything seemed to be falling apart. People passing by could look in through the windows, and with no mosquito nets, mosquitoes could get in too. The air conditioner smelled musty. The mattresses were comfortable, at least, though they slid down to the floor with you.
