The rooms are spacious, the breakfast decent, and the price reasonable. I also liked the place, though the sound insulation is bad. My first stay went fine. When I booked a second time, they cancelled my reservation 12 hours before I was due to arrive. By then everything was already booked, and I couldn’t find another hotel.

The hotel looks new and fancy, and it’s close to Bukovel resort, about a 20-minute drive. It’s 100 meters from the main road, but the access road is dirt mixed with broken stone, so in wet weather you and your car will get muddy. The room was spacious and clean, with big windows and a panoramic view. But there were gaps in the windows, and the cold, windy weather made the room too cold. There was no room service during our stay: towels weren’t changed, toilet paper and shower gel weren’t replenished, and the room wasn’t cleaned. Check-in was another headache. The receptionist acted as a go-between and couldn’t give us a key without the administrator’s approval, even though she could see our booking receipt. The administrator wasn’t always there, so check-in could take 15-25 minutes. Staff were hard to find at reception, and nobody was there all night when we needed help calling an ambulance. They also tried to charge us too much after we’d changed our dates, even though we’d called, agreed on the change, and received approval. We eventually paid the correct amount, but it was uncomfortable. Be very careful with the food and water or tea at the cafe in Brooklyn hotel. Fourteen of us, including friends, stayed three days and ate breakfast and dinner there. Twelve of us got an intestinal infection. It seems the problem may not have been limited to this hotel, since we heard that people at other hotels in Yablunytsya village had food or water poisoning too. While we were buying medicine at a local drug store, the pharmacist told us we’d be better off buying bottled water in Yablunytsya.

Nice view, and the hotel management has impressive skills too, along with top-notch arrogance.

Lots of different choices at breakfast, and it was great.
