The staff were excellent and breakfast was very good, but the hotel wasn't well maintained despite being fairly new. We had lots of power cuts, waited for the generator to start, and the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting. Getting to the R1 lift was a challenge with ski gear because the public road was unpaved and there were 70 extremely narrow wooden steps. Rooms facing the lifts get loud music from 8am to 7:30pm, so there's no quiet time. There was also a terrible sewage smell from the canal in front of the hotel throughout the day. The spa is small, with no more than 10 indoor beds, and the jacuzzi wasn't working during our stay.

I got what seemed like food poisoning from the kitchen, since I hadn't eaten anywhere else. When we were sick at night, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and neither did the room phone. I couldn't get out of bed and thought I might die there. They gave us no refund at all. I'm disgusted with the stay, and wouldn't go if you want to live.

The rooms are roomy and nice, and the spa area is good. Staff were nice too. Breakfast wasn't really to my liking, with only a few choices.

The spa and staff were great, and breakfast was superb. Add the fantastic view and location, and for me this is the best hotel in Ukraine. I'll visit again.

Really cool four-star hotel. The views from the windows are beautiful, the spa is clean, and breakfast is very tasty.
