Tavel Hotel & SPA

The room was nice, and it had a balcony. The hotel is close to the center, in a really good spot.

It’s a nice place to stay with children. The spa and swimming pool were very clean, and breakfast was included and genuinely good. The food was great, too. You’re very close to the center of Bukovel. Apartments "Hvoya" are being built nearby, so there may be some daytime noise. I can recommend staying here.

The fire safety needs serious improvement. The evacuation stairways aren’t separated into fire sections, and regular doors are installed but left open. On floors 4 and 5, there aren’t even regular doors. If a fire starts on the first floor, there may be no safe way out. The evacuation plans don’t meet ISO standards and are hard to read. There are flammable materials in the stairways, no smoke extraction from the floor corridors, and room temperature detectors mean fire detection is slow. The rooms also lack fire doors. The rooms themselves were clean, an okay size, and had decent beds. Breakfast was a mixed bag: the coffee was great, but some food names were incorrect and didn’t match what was served. I’d rate breakfast 3+. For a four-star hotel, the fire safety really needs work.

We were very impressed after our one-night stay with the family. The hotel is new, with a large, very nice room, and a friendly receptionist. There’s also an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner until 11 pm. Facilities include a spa, hamam, aroma sauna, and a swimming pool with water massages. I didn’t see an air conditioner, though it could be centralized.
