Good value for the price.

We booked a double room through Booking for ourselves and our child, and asked for an extended stay. When we arrived, our room was occupied, so they put us in a five-bed room instead without charging extra. There’s a pool on the property and a children’s room, but you have to pay separately for that. Laundry costs 200 UAH. When we asked at a time that didn’t suit the staff, they said, “Everyone is leaving in 20 minutes,” and weren’t very happy about taking it. The hotel doesn’t enforce quiet hours. People check in or come back to their rooms after 10 pm, banging on the stairs and in their rooms, and react aggressively when asked to be quiet. I don’t recommend this place with a child, especially a small one. You may end up rocking and calming her all night.

We were there January 13-15 with our 2.9-year-old, and they didn’t charge extra for him. I’d booked a couple of weeks ahead on Booking.com. Room 6 was warm and cozy, with a gorgeous mountain view. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere felt cozy, and the New Year decorations were beautiful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was good. Having an electric kettle and hairdryer in the room was a big plus. There were a few hassles: the parking entrance is very steep and there wasn’t always enough space, the soundproofing is poor, the shower hose kept dripping, and it was hard to get either hot or cold water. Washing my hair was a real challenge. For the price, I think those issues are minor. I’d be happy to come back in summer.
