The spot is really convenient, beside the central park and close to shops, restaurants, and the shore. The hotel and restaurant feel like a little castle, with an upstairs sleeping loft in each of its roughly dozen rooms, but no draft. The artist and photographer who owns it has decorated the place with a lot of taste. Ramon was very accommodating, and Ludmila takes real pride in running the front desk.

A very handy place to stay for work or travel, with a big supermarket and shopping mall right across the road. The family hotel has plenty of space and good natural light. The owner is so welcoming, and even gave me a free ride to work.

We were thrilled when we first found this beautiful hotel and saw our room, but the stay went downhill the next morning. Our baby wanted pancakes, which were listed on the menu, but we were told they weren't available. The croissant we got was dry, with no butter or jam, and just a fork to eat it with. They brought butter and jam when I asked. The next day it was the same breakfast, and again they gave us jam when requested. We had a lovely day at the beach and tried the restaurant that evening. The food was stunning, but the starter and main arrived together, so my main course was cold by the time I finished the starter. Then, after another beach day, we were called to reception and told we had to pay for the teaspoon of jam we'd had at breakfast. That put me off eating at the restaurant again, their loss. We came back later to find there was no bedding. Eventually we were given a quilt cover and told to make the bed ourselves. The following morning there were still no pancakes for the baby, and I was annoyed. I complained to the manager, who said they couldn't make pancakes. There's a supermarket across the road, and all you need is eggs, flour, and milk. They charge a lot to stay here, but the service was lacking. I was very disappointed by management's attitude. It felt as if they didn't care whether we enjoyed ourselves once they had our money. The owner should change how the staff treat guests, or the business could end up bankrupt. We left for another hotel, and later had a chance to speak with the owner, who did apologize to us.

Right in the city centre, this is a good hotel for a short stay in Chornomorsk. The rooms are nice, service is good, and the kitchen is okay. I recommend it.

Everything was fine, though they didn't accept credit cards despite saying they did. That's pretty much what I'd expect across the country.
