The hotel was nice and clean, the staff kind, and breakfast very good. Even in wartime, everything there was good. Well done.

The location is great, and the hotel is a nicely renovated Soviet-era building. It's not fancy, but clean and generally good quality, with friendly people and a relatively good price. The buffet breakfast is average, though authentic, and the restaurant combines traditional and modern decor.
I needed extra space to work, so I booked a junior suite. It was fantastic, very spacious, with a large bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful, and stores, restaurants, an ATM, and pharmacies are all close by. I highly recommend this hotel.
The water never gets very hot, which makes showering uncomfortable, and breakfast includes local “champagne”. The staff are nice enough, and the rooms are moderately clean. It's a one kilometer walk to the center, so keep that in mind. This is probably the nicest place in the area, though it could use some updates.
I wouldn't recommend staying here. The pool and sauna cost extra, and a lot extra at that. The carpet is very old throughout the hotel, and most rooms have a moldy, musty smell. I found a remodeled room for almost 2000 g; it was decent, but not worth that price. Breakfast was the worst I've had at any hotel. The cheese was dried out from the night before, most of the food was leftovers from the restaurant, and the only breakfast item, scrambled eggs, had run out.
