I came to Chernivtsy on a business trip, and picked this hostel because the city has no coworking spots where you can sit with a laptop and work. My train got in early, before check-in, but receptionist Marianna was already there and happily let me work in the lobby. The hostel is small and quiet, so it suited that perfectly. I left for a day and returned late at night. The door was closed, but there are phone numbers posted for reception, and someone can open it at any time. After staying the night, I kept working in the lobby until evening, even after checkout. There’s a kitchen downstairs with free tea and water. I was in a clean, small, cozy mixed room, with men and women, and the towels and sheets were really fresh. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Right outside, on your side as you leave the hotel, you’ll see the “Harry potter” university. Go take pictures and enjoy one of the country’s one-of-a-kind universities. It’s amazing. I’ll definitely come back and recommend staying here! :)
