Park-Hotel Kidev

The garden looks lovely in summer, and the rooms are comfortable, though there’s no coffee or tea in them. It’s a handy spot for a weekend, a conference, or another short stay. Breakfast was really poor, especially during the pandemic, with products that felt cheap and low quality, embarrassing for a four-star hotel. The restaurant is pretty good, but it’s separate from the hotel and outside the premises.

I got there early, and the staff were very helpful about getting me into a room. The hotel is extremely clean. Breakfast is served on the third-floor court, and the food is very nice. There’s also a restaurant on the hotel grounds serving Georgian 🇬🇪 and Ukrainian 🇺🇦 food. Prices aren’t cheap, but they’re affordable. Shisha is on the menu too. Airport transfers can be arranged by order.

There’s loads of room to spread out, and the kids have a great playroom plus outdoor entertainment for them and adults. The Georgian music and atmosphere are lovely, and the food was excellent. It’s a great location for a family break with little kids. One small downside: service could be slow, and the staff seemed reluctant to take pictures even when several waiters weren’t busy. They were still polite and responsive. We’ll be back!

23.11.2024 The staff were friendly, and the room was spotless and spacious with a comfy bed. But the shower water was unstable, and at 201 I could hear discussions from the first floor at night. Finding the hotel was the worst part. Maps led to a closed door to Tschubinske, and there weren’t proper signs when arriving by car from the highway. I ended up asking for the hotel corpus in an empty event hall, then at the restaurant, before finding the hotel building after 15 minutes running through sleet. Breakfast was average.
