Such a cozy place.

I give the hostel 5/5. It's right in central Dnipro and isn't expensive, plus it's easy to find with GPS. There's a nearby market called "Silpo". The hostel has everything, including a microwave, fridge and electric stove. The toilets and showers are in good condition, and the people are very friendly.

The prices are great, and the staff are friendly. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the center and the embankment. There's a 24-hour supermarket nearby, along with lots of cafes and restaurants. The location is very good.

It was so quiet, and I felt like I was visiting a friend. The place has a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Natalie ❤️ thank you. The kitchen has cereals and drinks, and there are toiletries too, plus everything else you need. The prices are fantastic, and creative people will find plenty of inspiration here.

The location is one of the hostel's strong points. Grunge Hostel is at 45/3 Ispolkomovska Street, in a quiet, cozy spot in the center. It's 7-10 minutes on foot from Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue and bustling Yekaterinoslavskyi Boulevard. ATB is 100 meters away, cafes and restaurants line the way, and the Dnieper River embankment, with its entertainment options, is 900 meters away. Museums, exhibitions and galleries are within walking distance, including the D. I. Yavornytsky Dnipro National Historical Museum, the Museum of Ukrainian Painting, the Art Museum, the Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, the T. G. Shevchenko Dnipro National Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, the one-man theater "KRIK," the planetarium, and the Menorah and MOST-City cultural centers. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry and visa center are 850 meters away. Public transport and shuttles make it easy to get around the city. I've been meaning to write about my stay here for ages. The building is old, from before the revolution, with thick walls that help keep it comfortable even in winter. Inside, the loft-style decor, 1940s and 1950s furniture, and carefully chosen lights give it a distinctive feel. There are an antique bookcase, armchairs, a small coffee table and lanterns, with a flat-screen plasma TV on the wall. In the living room there's a large prep table, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, sink and basic dishes. Free staples are there too, like cereals, pasta, tea, coffee and sugar. It's a relaxed, homelike space where people with similar interests gather. The guest notes on the walls leave a memorable sense of mystery and of past visitors. It's a small hostel with two compact rooms, one for women and one for men. The women's room has three beds and the men's has six, which felt especially valuable during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was sparsely occupied during the week, with some beds free, and busier on weekends. You can reserve ahead by phone. There's a good rule about keeping quiet and leaving shoes in the hallway for light indoor shoes instead, which helps keep the air clean and the rooms ventilated. The bedrooms are small but clean and comfortable. The new bunk beds have orthopedic mattresses, and the extra ladder makes getting up to the second level easy. The high ceiling leaves room for a third level. There's an outlet beside each bed, fresh linen and a towel are provided, and Wi-Fi is available. The rooms stay quiet despite the nearby road, and the neighbors are quiet too. Natasha, the hostess, is pleasant, kind, cultured and punctual. She puts a lot of energy into making the place warm and comfortable, and is ready to respond to requests, give advice or suggest a good solution. The atmosphere and harmony here feel like her work, and she does her best to make guests feel at home. She speaks foreign languages, loves poetry, and is intelligent and charming. She's glad to see returning guests and attentive to new ones. Talking with her is a positive experience. She's hardworking, meticulous, punctual and conscientious. I have the best memories of her.
