The kids loved finding a croissant and tea in the room. There’s no breakfast at the moment because the restaurant is closed, though I think that may change eventually. The rooms are spacious and the bed was clean. Nothing fancy, but it’s a good stop for the night before or after crossing the nearby border.

There isn’t a restaurant, but the staff are so attentive and welcoming that they’ve left a kettle, water, tea, and buns in the room. The hotel is clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable. It has what you need as a traveler coming off the road.

The room was clean and tidy, though cracks were already showing in the walls. There’s no refrigerator, and the lamps are plugged into extension cords running along the floor and under the beds. That seems dangerous to me. I was returning from abroad and chose the hotel for its advertised parking, breakfast, and Wi-Fi. On arrival, I found there was no breakfast. They said they used to serve it before 2022, but hadn’t taken it off the website. When I asked about the price, they pointed to the reservation and said breakfast wasn’t included. They can make coffee, but it costs extra.

We barely slept, which was the biggest problem. After 10 p.m., loud calls came into reception on the same floor as the rooms. We could hear conversations there and in the corridor, along with people banging on doors, until 4 a.m. People checking out at 7 made more noise, and later the cleaner worked with other room doors open, so we heard toilets flushing. We didn’t get the rest we needed. The staff were pleasant and friendly, and the start of our stay had been promising. They let us leave our things before check-in since we’d arrived early. The furnished room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and was generally clean. But the old TV was noisy enough to make a movie hard to follow, and the bathroom handle was broken, so the door wouldn’t shut properly. We had to bang it closed, awkward when your partner is asleep. There was no kettle or fridge in the room, though both were at reception. Since we had a double room, we wanted tea and access to our groceries without going out. There was shower gel but no hairdryer, and no air conditioning. The windows only open in a limited way because of their design. The restaurant is closed during wartime, though there’s a "Blyzenko" supermarket nearby. I also didn’t like having icons hung on the walls right in front of us. To me, that imposes religion and disrespects people of other faiths or none. This is a hotel, not a private home. My rating is 3.5.

The rooms are genuinely large, though the lighting is poor, and the staff are polite. You can buy coffee and tea at reception, and there’s a shop nearby for supplies since the restaurant is closed. The hotel stays warm in winter and has its own parking lot. The entrance to town is the location, with warehouses on both sides and lots of trucks around, so it feels a bit stressful, but it’s livable. The building is cracking at the seams, apparently because something shifted during construction. Don’t be surprised to find mold in the room or cracks in the walls.
