Honestly, some of our best days. The weather and the place were more than perfect, and the people staying with us were incredibly kind. The owners treated us like family too.

Beautiful, wonderful, unbelievable!

The cozy interior and big courtyard were highlights. There’s a barbecue, swings, tables, and a well-equipped kitchen. Staff handled nearly all our requests. We also had plenty of outlets in the room, a laundry room, lots of tour cards, and a recommendation for a great vat and sauna at a good price. No oven in the kitchen, though, if you need one. A few things could be better. There were no window screens, the toilet latch was broken, and the TV didn’t have a channel showing football when we checked in on June 14, just as Euro 2021 was starting. We had to wash our shoes in the sink, and there was no clothes or shoe dryer, which is inconvenient when it rains so much in the Carpathians. The gate is tall enough that a low car might scrape underneath. I’d give cleanliness 4/5. There was no bin in the room, no hot water the first evening, though it was back around lunchtime the next day. The bed creaks, sound carries between rooms, and the second-floor suite has a low ceiling.
