We've stayed here several times and have been completely happy with it. The price seems fair for what you get, and the owners, Mr. Vasyl and Mrs. Maria, are very nice.

We were there from January 9th to 16th, 2025, and the house itself was awful. The veranda wasn't the mountain-view spot they describe either. At best, it looks out toward an old cracked house. The location is good, right in the center, but cleanliness was terrible everywhere, including the dishes. The owner was stingy with the heat. When we asked him to turn it on because we were cold, he said, "I turned it on for you YESTERDAY!" He also came to our place in the middle of the night even though we were quiet, and wanted to put more people in with us despite our agreement on a set price and no strangers. I can't recommend it.

The location is very central, but the rent would only feel fair if it were half as much, given the condition and service. Cleanliness is about 2 out of 10. The photo shows a door over the stove, and I've never seen anything like it. You can peel off layers of grease. The landlady says she doesn't clean the second floor for health reasons, but she could hire someone. There's a flooded, moldy ceiling in the kitchen. Radiators don't get warm until it's clear you're moving in or they're heating properly. They talk about the veranda view, but if underwear and socks drying over the dining table block it, then I guess the view isn't bad.

The house looks better outside than it is inside, and I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing stay. Mrs. Maria, an elderly woman, rents one of the two places marked in different colors on the maps; the other is rented by her daughter-in-law. The rooms on the very bottom floor are cold and dirty, and the owners start cleaning and fixing the plumbing while you're there, whether you like it or not. The bathroom floods regularly. We washed everything ourselves. Horrible. The beds are uncomfortable. Upstairs, sockets barely stay in place, and each room has just one lamp, so it's dark. Dirt was everywhere, under beds, on and behind wardrobes. It looked like nobody had ever cleaned. The shared kitchen with a balcony isn't an advantage: everything is dirty and run on the cheap. When it rains, the balcony gets hot, and other guests' drying clothes hang over your dining table. Smoke from a yard barbecue comes in through open windows in every room. You'll have to go to the third floor for an iron and ironing board. There's no hairdryer; the hostess says angry guests stole it long ago. The ceiling is just plywood, so you hear everything. It's like a birdhouse, not a house, and the plumbing barely holds together. The banging overhead gets annoying fast. The rooms are worth about 100-130 UAH less than the listed price. As soon as you leave, the hostess checks everything, including the refrigerator.
