There are some good points: a gorgeous mountain view, a tidy and attractive yard, and the basic cooking utensils are available. But I found the accommodation conditions worth less than half the rental price. The yard is small, with two other guest houses on it, so it’s not suited to a cozy getaway. There are cameras all around, no washing machine or microwave, no soundproofing in the rooms, and no window screens. The shower is uncomfortable. The pool is about 1.5m deep, so if a child wants to swim, be ready to get in with them. I found the place through the Booking app. After confirming the reservation and talking with the owner, I received a message on viber saying an extra 18% tax would be deducted from the total. So a Booking price of 1000 UAH becomes 1180 UAH when paying the owner. Canceling the Booking reservation doesn’t bring down the total. Be careful, especially if you book for a week, as that adds up. Pool use is included, but swimming in the hot tub costs extra.

The entrance is really difficult, especially with a low car. The owner was rude and unfriendly, and the vat was dirty. It’s a long walk from the kitchen to get there, and they didn’t fill it with cold water in time for us to cool off. It was uncomfortable, and the worst vat I’ve ever used. I don’t recommend this place.

A great place to unwind. The hosts are friendly, and the hot tub and pool are wonderful. Grocery stores are within a 10-minute walk. The approach to the house is cobblestone and a bit steep, so leaving in snowy weather could be a problem.

We had no complaints about cleanliness, but the place looked different in person from what we expected when booking. We asked about the driveway and were told it was fine, yet you’d need a tank or an SUV to get up it. In wet or snowy weather, you may have to leave the car below. The house was cold when we arrived; after we called, the owner came and turned on the heat. There isn’t much furniture for storing things, and what’s there is outdated. The bathroom with the toilet is very small, with barely room to turn around, and one bathroom isn’t enough for a group of more than four. The last day of our stay was a disappointment because of how the hot tub was handled. We’d arranged to use the chan at 13:00, but were persuaded to switch to 17:00 so we could watch the stars. Then the “chan driver” asked us to come at 19:00 because he was at his main job. Around 18:45, the waiter arrived and said he might have the vat ready by 20:00, and we agreed. It started raining, though, and since there’s no cover over the vat, my friends and I decided not to sit in it in the rain. We called the owner and said we might cancel if the rain didn’t stop. There’s a pool by the vat, but it can’t be used because they don’t fill it, supposedly due to the high cost of maintaining the pumps or taps. We never got into the vat. The owner seemed uninterested, and the whole thing felt careless, leaving us unsure we’d recommend the place to friends.
