Romantik Spa Hotel

The food was amazing and the service was great, so I'd still give it five stars. It was my first all-inclusive stay in Ukraine, and I was totally satisfied. I know this place is more geared toward winter, but in summer there are two things to keep in mind: most rooms don't have air conditioning, and the hotel is very close to the railway. Trains can be quite noisy at night if you leave the windows open, which you have to do without air conditioning. It's great to see this kind of service growing in Ukraine!

I visited last year when there were a few minor drawbacks, but it seems like nearly all of them have been fixed. Housekeeping does a great job, the phones work, and the bike rental is excellent. The restaurant has wonderful, varied cuisine, and I love Ukrainian food. The SPA center was mind-blowing, with great music and lots of fun. I spent most evenings on the balcony, looking at the view with a glass of wine and breathing in the mountain air. I'll definitely come back next year when I visit Ukraine again.

We only used the spa. The staff didn't speak English, which made things a little challenging, but once we got inside we loved it. I'd highly recommend it.

It really depends what you're looking for. A close friend recommended this place and liked it, but I had a mixed stay. The pools were great, probably the best in the area, and the place was clean. Staff service was high quality apart from the “barbecue.” The buffet had good variety, dinner was good, and the restaurant served delicious fresh food. Their own Pyvo-Panske beer was tasty too. I come to the Ukrainian Carpathians for quiet and fresh air, and that wasn't what I found at Romantic Spa Hotel. There's no private grounds, and the railway is only 50 m away. You hear every train loudly greeting you a couple of times each night, so don't expect to relax. The so-called “barbecue” felt like bait to get visitors to try beer or other drinks while they waited. The staff preparing the food looked as if we were bothering them and should order a beverage. It felt like asking for a handout with our own money, even though it was presented as a compliment, and the dish we got was very poor. My friend and I tried it once and had no wish to repeat the experience. I think there are better located, more welcoming and much cheaper places in Yaremche, without all the advertising. It's your choice.
