The place had poor sanitation and lighting, a small yard, and a difficult road in. The shops were far away, the food was poor, the doors wouldn’t lock, and the windows had no handles. When we moved out, they tried to charge us for cracks that were already there, priced the repair at double, and demanded that all the walls be repainted over three tiny wallpaper spots. They raised the price by 5000.

The location was very good, up on a mountain but not far from the city’s main landmarks. Oddly enough, getting there by car was easy since the road is paved. We liked the friendly staff, the rooms, and the discount. Early check-in was a big help because we arrived at 7 am. They also offered us a better room than the one we’d booked, for only a small price difference.

I booked through Booking.com, got confirmation, and called ahead to agree on a check-in time. When I arrived, I called the owner as arranged. The maid met me by asking, “Where did you come from?” Then she said all the rooms were taken and there had been a booking error, so I couldn’t check in. They offered no other option and didn’t apologize. When I tried to get an explanation from the owner, I got a basic answer about the error and they hung up. The service was terrible. Avoid this hotel.

Awful, just awful. All the negative things people write about this place are true. The staff don’t seem to understand that taking people’s money and welcoming them are two different things. That’s what I remember from celebrating New Year 2026 here. Avoid this place if you can.
