The rooms were dirty, with a strong toilet odor, dirty sheets and towels, and cigarette smell throughout the property. The pictures didn’t reflect its actual condition. I was told to pay before seeing the room, which was a big mistake. Two hours after checking in, I told reception I wouldn’t stay overnight and had to find and confirm another place. They refused to return the 400 UAH I’d paid, saying there was no cash left at reception. The receptionist called the owner, who shouted insults at me and then hung up. The owner was rude and aggressive when I said I wouldn’t stay. Awful service and a very dirty place.

The location in Kharkiv is very good. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are really clean.

The worst hostel ever. They were so rude and mean. I swear, I wouldn’t recommend it to you guys at all. I gave one star only because there isn’t a zero-star option.

Nice, clean, and cheap. I’ll stay here on my next trip.
