Tamerlan

The road here is rough enough that taxi drivers hesitate to come, and the room is small. You can hear outside noise through the walls, which can make it hard to get some quiet. The stable smell makes it impossible to leave the balcony door open and enjoy the river view. The shower pressure is very weak, so bathing takes ages and isn't pleasant. The Wi-Fi stopped working after the first night. The place itself is in a nice spot beside the river.

There’s a riding school here where you can practice, and horses are around that you can play with. You can also ride for 1.5 hours for €12. There’s a restaurant that hosts events like weddings. A nice place to spend an evening and walk around.

The food was good and the atmosphere is lovely, which makes the way our evening went such a shame. We came as a family of seven, and the meals were served all over the place. My son got his first course, then after quite a wait we started getting the sides for the main course. The mains came before the baked potatoes, which had gone cold. My husband was still waiting for his first course, and my mother's first course arrived only after she'd finished her main. We asked to have dessert brought together, but my brother and sister-in-law finished theirs, then I got mine ten minutes later and my son’s came a bit after that. The beefsteak was also a ball of hamburger meat in sauce, with no indication of that on the menu. Such a pity for a beautiful place.

We spent a week here for my brother's wedding, and I’d definitely recommend staying. The hotel is lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the cafe-restaurant team.
