The location beside the national park worked for me, but I left a day early, which I've never done before. The place felt like the USSR, with no sign of renovation for decades, stains and decay everywhere, and a pillow that left my neck hurting in the morning. I wouldn't return unless the owners show that guest service and dignity matter to them.

The place is clean and nice, though a little pricey, particularly for Ukraine. The building itself is old, and English speakers may need a translator.

At $50 a night, this is absolutely terrible value. The rooms are noisy and have the look of going back to the USSR. Breakfast is awful: a quarter portion of some pasta, one chicken cutlet, half a cucumber, and a quarter of a tomato. Coffee isn't part of breakfast, either. The whole service isn't worth that price.

It's an ordinary hotel with cramped rooms. The TV and refrigerator need attention, and they should add things like a microwave, electric kettle, and slippers.
