The room was large, with a jacuzzi bath, shower, and private toilet, and room service was tasty and reasonably priced. I paid £45 a night. The hotel was excellent, but when I paid for room service, nobody offered me any change back. That was the only issue, and it kept this from being a five-star stay.

There was no elevator, which was a real problem with my huge suitcase on the third floor. The room felt very basic and wasn't especially clean. Maybe that's fine by Ukrainian standards, but by European ones I wouldn't call this a four-star hotel. More like two.

Breakfast was lovely, with English or continental options, and I found the place very good for a stay. Getting to the city center or metro takes a bit of a trek, though.
