The windows face a quiet courtyard, so there’s no street noise and we slept really well. The apartment is clean and cozy, right in the center of Lviv, with a balcony and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hostess was very warm and welcoming. It’s on the second floor of a historic 19th-century building, and the old stairs are tough if you’re carrying heavy suitcases. The layout is unusual: a studio with the kitchen, living area, and a double bed on a second-level mezzanine, plus a separate children’s room with a single ottoman. The bathroom is combined. From the train station, it takes 20-25 minutes by taxi for 70 hryvnias or by tram #1 or #9 for 5 hryvnias. The tram stop is on Doroshenko Street. I recommend it.
