The least expensive room I booked here was better than rooms I’ve had in some much pricier hotels. This is an old property that’s been restored beautifully, and the rooms have quality furnishings. The Wi-Fi worked well, and there was a little cart with tea, coffee, and an electric kettle. Linens and towels were very high quality, and the maid service was excellent. A few things to keep in mind: there’s no elevator, which could be tough on the upper floors, and the hotel isn’t accessible for disabled guests. Also, only some staff speak English, so communicating may be difficult if you don’t speak Ukrainian or Russian.

We’ve stayed here three times before and have just booked again. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the service is excellent. They really try to meet your needs, and breakfast is good. On our last visit, weather delayed our flight. We had to leave for the airport at 4 a.m., before breakfast, and the staff offered to make us sandwiches. That’s the kind of care they give their guests.

These are classy, understated, old-fashioned apartments, not a hotel. Just know the top floor is 108 steps up. Ask for a lower floor if you’re no Sherpa.

A great place for seeing Lviv. It’s beautiful and elegant, with friendly, helpful service. I enjoyed breakfast too, especially that they’ll offer to make fresh eggs just the way you like them when you arrive in the morning.

At The British Club, the rooms are clean and luxurious, the decor is beautiful, and the staff are really friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and the Wi-Fi is included and very fast. It exceeded my expectations.
