Cars outside can be noisy, so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re a light sleeper. Even so, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant, and I’d recommend it. It’s an old tenement house with plenty of Polish accents. The old staircase isn’t ugly, and the creaky wooden steps have a nice feel. The rooms are fairly high standard, with showers, towels, and options for several people. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but that has its charm. You can see the Adam Mickiewicz monument from the windows. 😃

The square looks lovely from the spacious rooms, which have their own shower and toilet. They also provide soap, slippers, towels, and clean linens. The guesthouse takes up the entire second floor of the entrance area in a residential building, and they only give you one set of keys. There’s no air conditioning, though it stays fairly comfortable in summer. For the price, I’d have expected a bit more courtesy from the staff. I think you could find somewhere better.

It’s a large, spacious room with a private bathroom, and it was clean and pleasant. The location is great. The busy street can make some noise in the morning, though.

The room was tidy, and they let us stay longer when we needed to. Don’t let the staircase and corridor put you off, they’re inside. But toiletries are very limited: for two people over five days, we got two samples and just one roll of toilet paper.
