Happy Hostel

Quiet and small, with good service. It’s also well placed near the old town and the pubs.

The rooms are cozy, the staff are friendly, and there’s hot water all the time. The room closets lock, which is handy, and the hostel is close to the center. For the price it’s not bad, though it could be a bit cheaper 😉. The bedding had a strange smell, maybe from the detergent or not drying properly, and there weren’t enough sockets, so I’m taking off a star.

I had to leave after a fight broke out during my stay. People living there were drinking heavily, and some were acting wildly. I was given back less money than I’d paid. The rooms are small, you can hear everything, the kitchen was dirty, and the bathroom ceilings were black. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially with plenty of good places nearby.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the prices are nice. It feels homely, with Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, multicooker, fridge, kettle, and dishes. Puzata Hata is just two minutes away, and the location is right in the center. There can be a short queue for the shower and toilet in the morning, but getting up before 9:00 should sort that out. I definitely recommend Happy Hostel.
