We waited 20 minutes for someone to open the door. He was asleep; I called twice and he said okay, but never came. Then he suddenly told me check-in was at 2pm. I explained we only wanted to leave our backpacks, not use the facilities, but he still said sorry, check-in is at 2pm. There’s no sign for the hostel and it’s really hard to find. It felt like the guests weren’t being treated with much respect, so I cancelled my booking. A real disaster.

I changed beds twice, and both were infested with bedbugs. I ended up with more than 50 bites and looked like I had chickenpox, so don’t stay here if you want to avoid that. You’re paying for the location and the bedbugs. The kitchen was dirty and we had no hot shower for three days, but those are minor issues that can happen in a hostel.

Everything was great here, from the beds and kitchen to the hot water in the bathroom. The receptionists were really nice too. I’d recommend staying here on a visit to Lviv.

The beds are comfortable and soft, and the receptionist was friendly. It could be cleaner, though, and the place is hard to find. There also aren’t any large lockers for luggage.

A really bad place. The beds were uncomfortable, and there was only one tiny bathroom and toilet. No cooker hood in the kitchen either, so the place filled with smoke when someone fried pancakes. I really don’t recommend it.
