Hotel Kayser

Good.

On check-in, 01/22/2025, the heating radiators on the first floor weren't working, although heating on the other floors was fine, so it wasn't an outage. The girl on duty at reception that evening tried to sort it out, but the radiators never came on and we had to sleep in our clothes. The rooms are as small as the description says, really only suitable for a short overnight stay. On the morning of 01/23/2025, a different receptionist was on duty. When we reasonably asked about fixing the radiators, she responded unprofessionally and inappropriately, making personal remarks, blaming guests, and saying her job was just to sit at reception. She told us to contact the hotel owner directly. Closer to lunchtime, we were contacted about the repair. While we were out walking, the room was opened with our consent and the problem was fixed. The technical issue was resolved, but the receptionist's behavior that morning completely spoiled the experience. Because of how the staff treated us, we won't consider staying here again and can't recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at Kaiser while vacationing in Lviv, and we were very happy with the hotel, the service, and the location. If we're back in Lviv, it'll only be Kaiser! The hotel is near the opera house, with an ATB nearby and a shop selling fresh, delicious pastries. Ms. Maria was wonderful, friendly, and clearly in the right job. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bedding and towels were snow-white. They replaced the bed linen without any questions when we asked. There's a bathroom in the room, and it was always warm with hot water. The power never went out! There's also a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and dishes (plates), but no gossip! (For anyone planning to cook.) Ms. Maria recommended the Food Factory right next door, where the food is very tasty and reasonably priced. We definitely recommend this hotel. For a tight budget, the economy rooms are probably the city's strongest option. The location is great, and the value for money is hard to beat.
