Kupava Deluxe Hotel

The beds were especially comfortable, and the rooms were well equipped. Breakfast was delicious, and guests also get bathrobes, slippers, and a shower set. Hotel Kupava sits somewhere convenient but quiet, and the exterior fits the mood inside. The decor feels dated, with more of a 2000s look. Wi-Fi and TV reception were disappointing, though, so there’s room to improve the technology and amenities. For Kupava Hotel, the review would need more specific details about its features, amenities, and the overall experience.

The room was €37, breakfast and an hour in the sauna and pool included. I had the “penthouse” room, number 400, and there’s parking for about 6-8 cars out front. The restaurant food is tasty, and it’s open 24 hours. The beds are really comfortable, and the reception and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. The sauna and pool are in pretty rough shape and need renovation, so I’d give those no more than two stars. The rest is four stars. I’ll probably stay here again.

Handy spot for a transfer from Poland toward Kiev. The station is about a 15-minute walk away, and the city center is roughly 30 minutes away. The rooms are cozy, breakfast is good, and the staff were very helpful when I had trouble with the complicated online-only train ticket booking system.

The room had no table, and the router on the wall was too bright, glowing green one night and blinking orange on the other three nights of my four-night stay. Breakfast was average, which surprised me given how good the restaurant food itself was. Twice, loud music went on until 23:00. Reception gets a 4, the restaurant food a 5, and the clean room a 5, but overall service is a 3. At the end of February it was cold in the room and even colder in the bathroom. The shower took 10-15 minutes to get hot water.
