We paid 4100 UAH for three nights, and I still don't understand the price. The rules are posted on three A4 sheets, with eviction threatened for breaking them, yet there are no documents issued. It felt like we were staying in someone else's home for free. They can also enter your room to use the washing machine while you're out, and there's video surveillance without your consent. After this stay, I don't want to return to Lviv. These were our worst three days there in 20 years. We booked a four-bed room for three nights after seeing good reviews. The first evening was fine, but the nights were awful. A shop on the ground floor meant trucks were unloaded in the courtyard from 6 AM, with employees shouting and smoking in groups. With no air conditioning, smoke came in through an open window. People making breakfast added the noise of pots and pans and food smells to the room. None of us, adults or children, slept properly the first night. The next night brought music from another room, then the same early truck unloading and shouting, laughing staff. The neighbors' dog barked for 40 minutes straight. By morning, I was at the end of my nerves. The room itself was dirty and neglected, and the photos don't show how bad it is. It looks like it hasn't been renovated in 5-8 years. The sheets smelled as if they'd been put on without washing. Doors had sagged and stuck, the toilet rocked, and the shower door was broken, with a curtain hung in its place. There was black mold and dust. We got just three used towels for four people, and hot water took 15 minutes. They had a washing machine but no detergent, and only one roll of toilet paper at check-in. The furniture was shabby, WiFi barely worked, and the greasy kitchen had greasy dishes too. The room had only one bar of signal. The whole place felt gloomy and dreadful. I've never seen a worse hostel. I'll attach a photo of this madhouse below.
