Masoch. Hotel & Cafe

I haven’t stayed at the hotel, but visiting the Masoch bar is an interesting experience 😏🌶️ The drinks are really tasty, and some come with special punishments, so expect an interactive place. I tried joining in and found it definitely interesting. Go enjoy yourself 🙂‍↕️ P.S. Don’t bring kids.

On this visit, the basement was closed for renovations, Masoch’s statue was gone, and only a few tables were available. It felt more like an ordinary cafe with a BDSM-themed gift shop. I hope the place gets its old atmosphere back after the work. I had a much better time here a few years ago, when I tried the delicious bull’s testicles braised in balsamic sauce.

We liked the rooms, the location, and the whole concept, and we’d stay here again. The only snag was breakfast starting at 10, which is much too late. They offered to give it to us the evening before instead, which felt a bit odd, but we were okay with that. Next time we might skip breakfast.

We waited a little while for our cocktails, but the waitresses were serving drinks and keeping customers entertained, so it made sense. A few extra minutes didn’t matter when you could watch someone have candle wax melted onto his bare chest or ice cubes put in another guy’s underwear. My friend and I got whipped pretty hard too. Definitely a memory I won’t forget. Add this place to your visit list, guys, you won’t regret it.
