Post House Rooms

Post House was superb in every way during my tourist trip through Ukraine as a US citizen, May - August 2025. The place was clean and comfortable, with beautiful decor, and the staff were highly trained and experienced. They all spoke English well, so I’d especially recommend it to English speakers, and to travelers generally. I took Tram #1 from Main Train/Bus Lviv Station to within a few hundred meters of the entrance.

Everything was great during my stay of over a week: all the necessities were there, the location was great, and breakfast was very good. The staff were the nicest people I’ve met while traveling. Thank you!

We booked all of Post House Hostel for an international gathering of youth workers celebrating the arrival of New Year 2018. The location was nice, a little away from the most crowded part of the center, with lots of inexpensive breakfast places, pubs, and spots for drinks on the way in. The hostel was kept very clean, at a high hotel standard. We even asked them not to clean the rooms on New Year’s Day so the staff wouldn’t have to work too much. The kitchen was cozy and had free coffee and tea, plus all the appliances we needed. The staff were kind, cheerful, and helpful whenever they were around. They were also patient and cooperative from the start, regularly sharing information about the price, rooms, facilities, and city recommendations while we arranged to book the whole place. When we arrived, there were New Year treats in every room, along with personalized cards that made us all feel special.

It’s a renovated apartment, with a spacious dorm and some private rooms. The two bathrooms are small but clean. The kitchen has all you need to cook, and there’s free bottled water. There’s also a balcony for smoking. The main square is a five-minute walk away, with a large supermarket nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful.
