Ramada by Wyndham Lviv

The place looks stunning, and it's clean and modern. We stayed for two nights without any trouble; the rooms were quiet and the staff friendly. I wasn't keen on any of the three breakfast options we tried, which seemed to be Ukrainian-style. Also, there's no fridge in the rooms.

It's a clean, modern hotel with friendly staff and reasonable rates, but the advertised 24-hour room service wasn't available. We arrived in the middle of the night hoping to warm up some food in a microwave, but the receptionist couldn't help, so we went to bed hungry. The drainage also seems to have issues, and your shower might leak.

The restaurant food tasted good, but several people in my family got sick that night, most likely from food poisoning, so none of us had a restful night. The hotel is moderately clean, though it could be better, and it seems more suited to business travel. I wouldn't bring a family here for a relaxing stay. As an American, I expected better from our own hotel chain. Next time we're in the city, we'll look elsewhere.

The breakfast was poor, with the food in the chafing dishes always cold. They really need to address that. The room itself was comfortable and quiet, and otherwise good, but it should have a fridge. Nearly every room in Ukraine has one, as well as a kettle.
