Taurus Hotel & SPA

Awful. There was no electricity, the pool was nowhere near the advertised 28 degrees and felt very cold, and the jacuzzi was tiny. They didn’t provide a dental kit either.

This doesn’t work as a business hotel for me. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8:00, and one morning there was no hot water. I also couldn’t rely on the fitness room hours, since the front desk had to be contacted to open it one morning.

We appreciate the hotel’s kindness and generosity. We couldn’t make it to Lviv because of border issues, and even though we had booked at the last minute, the hotel refunded us. We’d spent hours traveling and had all our documents ready, but still received an official refusal letter at the border. That was upsetting for us as visitors who really wanted to support Ukraine, and for businesses like this hotel that are affected by such decisions. We hope we can return someday, experience the spa and hospitality ourselves, and see Ukraine thriving again. Wishing the hotel success. Glory to Ukraine!

The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with lots of fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat, and more. The spa is included in the price and well worth a visit. The hammam was properly heated, and the pool water was clear and at the right temperature. It was my first stay here, but definitely not my last. The location is good too, within walking distance of the center. Two thumbs up!
